PARK OVERVIEW

Introduction

Being the largest and the oldest Game Park in Kenya, the famous Tsavo East National Park was launched back in the late 1940s and it covers 13,747 Km Sq. Some of the key natural features found in Tsavo East National Park are the famous Yatta Plateau & Galana River, not to mention several dams that sustain Tsavo East National Park’s wildlife.

Wildlife

What you find in Tsavo East National Park is herds of Dust-Red elephants, Leopards, Lions, Buffalo, Rhinos, Crocodiles, Water-bucks, Gerenuk & Hirola, Lesser Kudu & Hippos. The park also has more than 500 species of Birds 

Access

You can Access Tsavo East National Park by Road either from Nairobi or Mombasa.
