1 Day Shimba Hills - Breath of life.
Early in the morning at 6.30 a.m. we will drive for 45 minutes from the Hotel entering the gate of Shimba National Reserve.
The reserve is 192 square kilometers and has the last remaining Sable Antelopes in East Africa.
Game drive enroute to see rare animals which are the herds of unique forest elephants, columbus monkeys, giraffes, buffalos and not forgetting Sable Antelopes.
Our game drive continues until 12.30 hrs, when we stop for lunch at the Shimba Hills Lodge, the only wooden Tree Lodge in the coastal area.
After lunch we will relax a little until 3.00 Hrs when we proceed for another game drive.
You will have a chance to visit the spectacular Shedrick’s Falls where you can walk between the water and the cliff and swim safely in a small pool.
Afterwards we drive on our way out of the park and back to the hotel, arriving in the early evening.
